Scaravelli inspired Yoga with Lara Stapleton London
15. November 2015
Scaravelli inspired Yoga with Lara Stapleton from London in Vienna - workshop ‘Peeling back the Layers and Awakening the Spine’ in four parts from the 23rd & 24th January 2016 in Little Yoga Room Vienna.
What is Scaravelli Inspired Yoga?
The practice of Scaravelli Inspired Yoga uses the earth’s energy to release the weight of the body towards gravity, which creates elongation and space along the spine and an effortless breath. It’s a deeply nurturing and grounding practice and very primal, allowing you to get in contact with the creature inside ourselves without imposing other layers. It focuses on peeling back the layers and unfolding the body from the inside without force.
As you learn to move from the natural flow of the breath and surrender to gravity, it creates a wave like movement in the spine. From the wave, your practice can unfold into beautiful rhythmical spirals and formations…its spontaneous and the breath and spine dance together.
Saturday 23rd January 2016
Part 1: Primal Creatures….Primal Movement
Part 2: Getting in touch with The Wave
Sunday 24th January
Part 3: the powerful diaphragm ... the pause at the end of the exhalation where everything happens
Part 4: The feet .... unfolding from the ground up

„Yoga sollte nicht geübt werden, um den Körper zu kontrollieren.
Im Gegenteil. Es sollte dem Körper Freiheit geben – alle Freiheit, die er braucht.“
~ Vanda Scaravelli
