Mantra and Yantra – practices of transformation
Patterns and geometry express themselves throughout the natural world. Geometry literally means ‘earth measure’ and has been utilised over the years in all traditions to explore the abstract nature of unity in all things. It is itself an expression of the idea of oneness, with all things radiating out from a central point and reflecting back to the centre.

The physical act of creation of these yantras is in itself a profound process. It can be a deeply healing and insightful practice. This retreat will focus on three such yantras. Mahamrityunjaya, associated with the relief of suffering, Gayatri, associated with inner illumination, and Durga, with managing the obstacles and difficulties arising in life.
No previous yoga, meditation or drawing and painting experience needed.
