YogaKula Vienna welcomes Claire 24 – 25 September 2016
6. September 2016
One weekend, 4 workshops with Claire Missingham at YogaKula Vienna in September. Claire self-practise includes the Ashtanga Vinyasa method regularly – she studied in Mysore, India in 2001, first to study with Sri K Pattabhi Jois (until 2009) and then with Sharath Ramaswamy, her last trip to Mysore was in 2012. Since 2000, Claire has aimed to create her own detailed, inspirational and methodical approach to Vinyasa Flow Yoga – where she builds specific methods of creating krama (sequencing) and alignment, then layering music, yogic philosophy and real-life stories.
Claire is now the UK’s top Vinyasa teacher, and continues to build on this extensive research into the minuscule details that make Vinyasa Flow Yoga the yoga form of the future.
Claire has taught her dynamic, choreographed and alignment based approach to Vinyasa Flow Yoga at yoga studios throughout the world. She has created a renowned Vinyasa Flow Yoga DVD and music for yoga CD and her successful yoga teacher training programme will have trained over 100 skilled teachers from Europe by April 2014.

Sat 24. Sept. | Wild Shakti | 10:00 - 12:30
This inspiring workshop is honoring the Goddess and the divine spark of the Goddess within all of us.
Using a focus on the anatomical as a means to finding the outer form and then inner wildness, the class starts with 18 sun salutations to music and a deep tribal awakening of spirit.
Moving deeper into, we offer a sankalpa for everything we do and find inspiration in stories of the gods and goddesses. Class finishes with a led meditation, prasad, and close with chanting.
Sat 24. Sep | Graceful Warrior | 14:30 - 17:00
A seriously grace-filled workshop exploring love, purpose and truth as part of our living yoga journey, not only as a path of self transformation but also as a path of service. Weaving asana and meditation practice together with inspiration from spiritual warriors-leaders, the focus is on reconnecting with our higher purpose, achieving the goal of integration and setting of intention. An ideal workshop for times of transition, such as the New Year, new moons, equinoxes and solstices.
Sun 25. Sept. | Art of Assists for Vinyasa | 10:30 - 13:00
